Stahnsdorf: Location and surroundings of this property

Founded in the 13th century, Stanesdorp is an up-and-coming small town with around 15,000 inhabitants in the district of Potsdam-Mittelmark. The rapidly growing municipality lies to the west of Teltow, south of Kleinmachnow and is bordered to the north by the Teltow Canal. Thanks to its proximity to the metropolis of Berlin and the state capital of Potsdam on the one hand and the Parforceheide nature reserve on the other, Stahnsdorf offers very well-connected living close to nature with an excellent infrastructure. Stahnsdorf is becoming increasingly attractive, particularly as an alternative to Kleinmachnow. The wooded and lake-rich surroundings are ideal for long walks and other leisure activities. There are numerous supermarkets and many shops for daily needs as well as kindergartens, schools and medical facilities in the town centre.
